Groundhog Day is an “observance”, not a holiday. A holiday is a day when the banks, post offices and libraries are all closed.

Danae may have thrown Lucy under the bus, but at least she didn’t throw Lucy to the wolves. We have Homer allowing his captors to throw the slave who fed him to the wolves, and thinking it was great since it saved his skin. So anything Danae does is much less abusive, in comparison….
