    Actually, your majesty (and Cinque and Wolf), they aren’t multiplying at all. A Fibonacci sequence is done with addition.

    And Surfstuff, since a Fibonacci sequence creates each new number by adding together the two previous numbers in the sequence, the number should indeed have been 34 (13 + 21).

    While it is true that the Fibonacci sequence is generated by addition, as the sequence goes on and on, it comes closer and closer to ((√5+1)/2)ⁿ/√5, so it is indeed approximately exponential.
