Is it the return of big hair or a brillo pad?

I had a perm like that once. I remember looking in the mirror and thinking, what do I do now?!

Awww: that’s really cute. I remember being young enough to wear big hair. But I just didn’t have the finesse to carry it off.

Hmmm. . . Perm kit from the 90s, no instructions, left on for five hours (I think Lucy Ricardo did that last part). You’re lucky, Agnes. I expected the results to be a lot worse.

I figure in 2 days her scalp will loosen up and then all her hair will fall out.

Hello ’70s! Actually, I like it on Agnes. Change can be good. And Trout is definitely right in the third panel.

A huge hat?! Assuming that you can find one that big, it might well make Agnes overbalance. Also, maybe she doesn’t want to hide her newly permed hair.
