Now is the time to nominate Endtown for an 2014 Eisner award, in the category of Best Digital Comic. To quote:“The best digital comic category is open to any new, professionally produced long-form original comics work posted online in 2013. Webcomics must have a unique domain name or be part of a larger comics community to be considered. The work must be online-exclusive for a significant period prior to being collected in print form. The URL and any necessary access information should be emailed to Eisner Awards administrator Jackie Estrada: jackie@comic-con.org.”Now, the Eisner winners are determined by a small, select panel of judges who are respected in the field. The decision is made on the work’s quality, which means essentially that the winner will be the best comic, not just the one with the widest circulation. Myself, I truly believe Endtown is of such quality in art, writing, concept and body of work that it could rank as one of the best web comics, if not the best. I truly believe Aaron Neathery’s Endtown can win an Eisner. Please note that Best Digital Comic applies to long-form stories and not just individual daily strips. I do not intend Doc Rat to be nominated, even though it does contain a certain number of long-form stories in amongst the individual strips. Endtown has a greater chance of winning, and I do not want to distract the vote. Nominations are open now, and they close on March 17th. Now is the time for as many fans as possible to e-mail Jackie Estrada (jackie@comic-con.org) and explain why Endtown should be considered worthy of being on the short list for this award. 2014 is the year for Endtown to break very, very big.
Thank you Jenner. Is there any advantage to the volume of nominations, from different IP addresses naturally? I imagine we’ll hear from our favorite language troll. Yeah, we are all fambly, even that crazy cousin we try to keep indoors, even me. So vote people. If you have several IP addresses, I can see the pattern, bit TopWebComics doesn’t care. Look at the voting history of the top ten vote fetters. By gosh, I recognise one of those colleges, I wander if it’s a bot.

Yup, he’s a cat alright. Never knew one that wouldn’t rather protect its own hide! This brings up the question whether Wally was like this before, and therefore mutated into an outward form that suited his inward state before, or became inwardly like a cat as a result of his mutation! This question also bears on what our two closet furries might become when they mutate!
Some said Walt Disney hated Jews, others said he was an atheist. Of which when I found out, turned out to be not true.at all, just lies brought on by those with small, unimaginative minds. The true fact is that he was a smoker which lead to his reward (death) in 1966. But his magic of the empire that he created lives on.
I may have been mistaken about Walt and cats. I got my information from the TV Tropes website in the “Cats are Mean” trope. There are a fair number of mean cats in Disney films including Micky Mouse’s antagonists and Lucifer in “Cinderella” and knowing that “The Aristocats” took place after Walt’s death, it was easy to assume that Walt hated cats.Ironically the “Cats are Mean” trope also shows up in Endtown. Of the 5 anthro felines who come readily to mind at least 3 fall into this trope. Louie kicked Holly in the stomach and shoved a handful of catnip in Wally’s face, Cliff Dunbar put Wally in the hospital and tried to eat Holly, his partner Bradley did try to protect Holly (though he was an anthro lion, does that count?) and while Flask does have her own reasons for cruelty towards Topsiders, she has no excuse for shooting her own subordinates. And this strip IS drawn by a known cat lover.
Fraternally! What is wrong with my spellcheck? I try to make an honest and earnest comment, and my spellchecker betrays me. Perhaps I should get my spellchecker an exorcist. William of Occam? Who’s he, and why do I need a razor?

Sometimes even paranoids have very real enemies. Yeah, I remember reading about how Communists all of a sudden became really, really bad. Right after we helped USSR and other Allies whoop the Nazis.
The guy that invented the atom bomb could not get a clearance to attend lectures He Was Giving! Yeah, Opje was a part time Commie Pinko, but mostly he just wanted to screw anyone with a skirt, except his enemy, J Edgar Hoover.
Help me remember, why did we free China from Japanese Imperialism, so they could become Communist? No, that was really about oil and opium.

Clive might take action against “Vermin” within his confines like Petey did in the Al & Justine adventure.
