Splendor in Art can go very, very wrong. Consider Lanziger’s monumental canvas of Hitler as a knight in shining armor.

Beauty is beholden in the apple of the eye of the beholder..It’ll take a centaur to unmix that metaphor. Not a bad idea to have one adjudicating the ‘’what is art’’ question.
