We have a “catch and release” program for spiders. I have a small box handy. If there’s a spider in the house, I catch it in the box and put it outside. Any enemy of a mosquito is a friend of mine. My younger daughter has gotten pretty adept at using the Spider Box as well.
One of the reasons I fell in love with second husband was that he did not laugh at my arachnophobia, when he would hear me shrieking hysterically, he would just squish the little monsters and dispose of the bodies

The only spiders I’m not scared of are money spiders.
Bigger ones just terrify me.

It’s unlucky to kill spiders! the older I get the more tolerant I get, I try not to kill anything!

Little Spiders would preferable, at least they’re neat and tidy after a meal and keep to themselves.
Regular house Lizards, on the other hand, leave their Poop all over the place after a meal after a while… Now that disgusting!
