Andy: our bathroom scale is broken.
Roger: oh?
Andy: It showed me as being 15 pounds overweight.
Roger: Not to be rude, but why’s that mean it’s broken?
Andy: Because I threw it out the window.
Roger: have I mentioned how thin you look today?

Garfield can relate to Andy: they both have issues with scales (in Garfield’s case, electronic talking ones).

I thought Andy only ate healthy stuff. She is always harping on Roger and the kids. How is she 15 pounds overweight on the stuff she cooks?

BTW…
Still… all in moderation I guess.

Can the scale be changed to metric? Andy might feel lighter if she her weight in kilos.

Scale: “Captain, sensors indicate a huge gellotnous blob!…. Phasers have no effect!….Abandone ship! Man the space pods!” Garfield: “I hate you.”

This reminds me somewhat of my wife’s early days with computers. “Dear, the computer is broken.” Back then it could have been anything from it’s on fire to it can’t download her favorite site. She’s a lot better with her descriptions now.

Yes, Roger, talk sweetly to your wife, praise her, and slowly back out of the kitchen and hide.
