(Putting on my Andy Rooney voice) Do you ever watch people pick out melons?
Some people have the most elaborate rituals. I can sort of understand squeezing it (if it gives way, it’s too ripe) and maybe even sniffing it (if it has a strong smell, it’s too ripe). But some people thump it, plump it, shake it and do everything but bake it.
It’s like they are torturing it to find out its secrets. It makes you wonder if there should be some sort of agricultural Geneva Convention to prevent fruit abuse.

That is also true if you buy a bag of oranges. The orange hiding in the middle is the one starting to spoil.

Fire the colorist. When a box it labeled with the name of fruit that is also a color, one would think that color should be used.
