The Legion of Superheroes is in the future, so the current team came up with it first and can sue the future team for trademark infringement. They just have to keep being the Legion of Superheroes for a thousand years and… Wait, that might mean the future team is the current team in the future and they’d be suing themselves…

I DID wonder why they called themselves that.
