I think the colourist messed up….thath’s Thophie’s tongue in green……..

And after fixing the freezer, you might want to take Sophie to the vet. Any creature with a tongue that colour must be on death’s door! (I wonder if the colourist ever calls the cartoonist for an explanation, or it they just have to guess…)

Since Sophie doesn’t actually talk w/ her tongue, why is her speech slurred?

Thophie’s tongue should be blue…having been in the fweezer And what’s that thing by Dad’s foot…I got the Italian meatballs, the ice cream and the fudgesicles…but

Interesting effect rendering the dog as toony and the human as realistic

And this is why comics should not be colorized.

I think maybe the color person had a bad day.

There are some strips – that really need colour. Maybe not everyday, but enough for the rest of us to actually “see” what is going on..I figure Sophie’s tongue is green because its on its way to being frozen blue. Or was already frozen blue and is now beginning to thaw.

Are we to guess that the long GREEN thing is her tongue?
