No dogs in park no dogs in park but we pick up after our dog. Is the friendliest little guy in the world. And he would never even think of hurting anybody. No dogs in park oh well that's okay then in a perfect world..
The Lab is however one of the dogs most likely to bite, so doesn´t matter how it looks but how it acts – and how it might act (we had one and no matter how gentle it was in other cases – if the cats got near its food it would snap their necks).
I have never seen a mean Lab and of course that Lab would bite at a cat going toward the food……..that’s normal. I trust a large dog before a small one and we always had Scotties and they usually do not have that sweet disposition.
Any dog can attack someone, or something. It’s based purely upon how THEY are treated. People who beat their dog, have violent dogs. However, a dog is just an animal, and it has wild instincts. They can turn ‘bad’ just from some small trigger we don’t know about. It’s sad but true...Oh a happier note, to those who’ve followed my struggles in going back to college at 32 … I’m pleased to report I managed to finish one full program! I’m now officially a “College Graduate.” Yay Allan!
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE.Doh, chip, Dry (hugs!), JP, dzw, She1943, 2old, cdward, JP (I’m gonna smack you … THAT thing is ANNOYINGLY funny), ShikaMooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOooooooooo! (hug!).,YOU ALL ROCK, and I love being overboard in this wacky crew!

Thousands of years of selective breeding has ensured ,with proper care, only loving obedience is displayed. Sadly can’t be said about humans.
