When my wife took college Spanish, the professora wrote “La papa” on the board, and drew a potato with a mitre, then looked at the class and said, “No, no, no!”

HAHAHAHAJust what I thought when I read it :-)

When the Pope visited Miami, someone made “Yo veo la Papa” t-shirts and didn’t understand why they didn’t sell.

“Papa” is Latin American Spanish. In Spain they say “patata”.

Ahhhhhhhh, a woman in her place, making Papas.
