Hey, Moms Love flowers even if they are sometimes wilted dandelions (very small children often do this because the flowers are so bright and cheery). Flowers bought in a flower shop are also lovable because it means some thought went into the gift, especially if the child is older and has earned some of his own money. Just MOO… ;)
Michael go to Cartoonproflowers.com. Click on the microphone in the upper right hand corner. Enter the secret code and get your mom her flowers before mothers day. Act now and they will include a free vase. No hassles, don’t have to worry about your friends seeing you on the street with flower, and best of all no mushy cards.
my husband was out walking last week and came home with a hand full of Buttercups. I put them in a small jar next to the sink in the kitchen and they actually lasted a week. My husband brings me flowers for no reason a lot, all store bought but these were very sweet.
I treasure the artificial rose my hubby bought me one year. It sits in a little vase on the entertainment cabinet in the living room and I think of him fondly as I walk past it on a daily basis.
This storyline pretty much describes the reason Americans are chronically short of cash. Why isn’t a gift a “gift” unless you pay someone else to make it?
My new guy is very thrifty and still has his mom nearby. Since he’s also good at writing, I gave him a few of the prettier empty cards (no message inside) that one of my charities sent me (he has mentioned that his mom gives to many, so I think she’ll appreciate even that), but as a mom, I KNOW she’ll love a personal card from him.

Yet I’m sure you’ll expect nice gifts for your birthday, won’t you, Michael? It’s your mother!! You can be mushy with people you’re related to!

If my hubby ever brought home flowers through our now 33-year marriage I would go into shock. Now we have a tight budget I would feel waste of money.

MY DH brought me a wild Trillium flower from his walk in the woods this morn. They are just coming out now. They are late this year!

I love homemade cards. Prefer them greatly over store-bought, which are both expensive and pretty much meaningless.
