Good Morning, Vagabonds.Just watched one of my favorite, "Twilight Zone ".Elizabeth Montgomery and Charles Bronson. Nobody else. Little dialog. Kind of a love story.
Good morning, Vagabonds. I went to Manhattan yesterday and bought a new electric razor and sat in Bryant Park enjoying the beautiful weather. Too bad the subway taking me back home took so long to arrive and when it did arrive was so crowded I had to ask someone for a seat. When I arrived at my station the 41 steps from platform to street again was a hassle. I guess it’s because when I spent 5 months in Miami I didn’t have to climb any stairs.
Morning, Vagabonds. We’ll be heading down country in a few hours, to take a mini vacation. We intend to see the Painted Churches in Schulenburg and some of the other sites in the region.
Good morning Vagabonds..Sunny, just 30. Alright, time for spring, hand it over..In that T-Zone episode, Charles Bronson dose all the talking to a dark haired Elizabeth Montgomery who dose not understand a word he’s saying. Love interest is unavoidable because they may be the last two people on Earth.I like that one too. My favorite is “Time Enough At Last” with Burgess Meredith..Well in a while I’m headed for Newport to have a new wind shield put on my Jeep. A great long crack at the bottom all the way across, just showed up one morning. (0.o).So catch ya all later..ttfn
Loved that Twilight Zone episode with Burgess Meredith! Another favorite was “Room for one more, Honey”……don’t know the title, but that line is stuck in my head.
Arye…..what a chore just to do your shopping! I can’t maneuver stairs, either. It kills my low back. I’m thinking of getting one of those chair lifts for our stair case. Right now I don’t go downstairs at all.
Have to take our car in for an Emissions flush and wheel alignment. This has been the best vehicle we’ve ever owned! It’s got close to 250,000 on it. This year alone, we’ll probably hit 300,000 with all the weddings and the new grand baby on the way.
Mark, I’m with you on “Time Enough At Last”. It is my favorite episode as well. My heart just breaks for him. The other one I get a kick out of I don’t remember the title. It is about the man who has a data tape of some sort (long before they were common or known to most people) for his wife. When she finally gets on his nerves, he burns the tape and she disappears, never to have existed. The part that makes it good is that when Rod Serling appears to wrap up the episode, the guy burns another tape, and Serling disappears, too.
Another beautiful day in the neighborhood. My cactus bloomed finally. It only blooms at night, so I was up at all hours to get pictures. The funny thing is it usually only blooms for one night and by morning it has wilted away. It has been so cool here lately that it took two nights to fully bloom. And I was so tired from staying up the first night that I couldn’t do it again and did not get a photo of the flower fully bloomed out. I did get some good shots, though and will post one here soon.
@MontanaLady: Did you get my last e-mail answer to your question. I sent it several times and had it bounce back because I made a mistake in the address. The last time it didn’t as I had corrected it.
I remember all those episodes mentioned. Felt so sorry for Burgess Meredith.Jan, not sure it would be good to be able to “make someone”? But it would be…. Having a hard time trying to get the right word for how it would feel. Finally gave up.
