Adam: Oh, man. Did I ever need this. Katy: And how. After a winter like that I will never take this for granted. Adam: Hear, hear. you've got the sun. The birds chirping. The scent of suntan lotion on the breeze... The distant sounds of someone wheeling a squeaky lawnmower out of a garage... The sound of a lawnmower getting closer... The sound of your starting expectantly and wondering why I haven't mowed the lawn yet. Katy: Ahh. Now that sounds like Summer!

Right, Laura could do the lawns if Adam would do all the housework…………

One nice thing about the “Green” movement is I can leave my yard in it’s “natural” state and stare down detractors. (Even the infamous lawn D-Tractors)

No.no. Not Adam. Agreed. It should be Clayton with the mower, down the street, making money. Mowers sound best if heard from a distance.

They say good fences make good neighbors. I hope your fences are soundproof. I agree the best time to mow is at sunrise, my neighbors though might not be so agreeable.

Well for me May was a difficult month. The weather was changing between rainy and sunny so I needed to cut the grass on every secont weekend.

@Josh Lyons – the Sunday strips are almost always unrelated to the weekday strips as not all papers carry both types of strips and not everyone gets the daily and Sunday paper. So to keep the continuity of the weekday strips the Sunday strips are generally unrelated. Not just Adam, all strips with a continuing plot line.
