^Not always. I was on a flight from NY to Frankfurt, Germany and ended up with a seat that did not recline at all. Last time I ever flew Pakistan International Airline.
Next year the seats will be reduced to those little wooden step stools anyway, and they’ll charge extra for it, for having to give you a seat at all. I refuse to travel anymore.
I remember 1st class on AA. You were greeted with champagne, dinner was freshly cooked roast beef and vegetables, and dessert was freshly made hot fudge sundaes. You could fit an elephant into the seats too.

I told the bus driver my seat wasn’t heated, didn’t recline, and didn’t vibrate.For some reason I walked home.

way back in the day, the crash position was to put your head on a pillow on your legs, now it is on the back of the seat in front of you.
they also have narrowed the seats over the years to get more seats in those hollow metal tubes just saying….
