Speaking of Peppermint Patty, did you know today’s June 13, 2014 The Brilliant Mind of Edison Lee comic strip had a Peanuts/Peppermint Patty reference?
This strip is from ‘67, and P. Patty had only been introduced the year before. So she doesn’t quite have the “Chuck” thing down yet. Marcie is still 3-4 years from appearing with her “Charles” title for good ol’ CB.
I think the fact that Snoopy is a dog didn’t dawn on her until a rather long storyline in the late 70s or thereabouts. She tried to quit school and attend a private school instead. It took ages until she realized that it was a dog obedience school.

Thank you for your comment last week.-Yes, sometimes I need time to myself when I’m not feeling happy or not myself as I don’t want to spread my negative moods on Andy Capp. It wouldn’t be fair.-The “Honky Tonk Women” song by The Rolling Stones sounds good but I’ve heard catchier songs. The official one is held on the 20 June I think. So keep your fingers crossed that I get called back. So thank you.-I sometimes have bad days where I feel like nobody cares about me even though they do. That’s what I meant when I said I was feeling left out with the Cappers but I get over it.
