Pets don’t care what you look like, whether you’re fat or thin, rich or poor, live in a mansion or an apartment, or what “things” you have. All they care about is if you’re kind. So yeah – sometimes I prefer the company of my two rescues to some of the people I know.

People have cats for the same reason they have kids: so there’ll be small, powerless creatures around they can blame for everything that goes wrong

A cat is the best companion you can have. Especially when it looks at you with all that love in their eyes. Dogs are good for that too.
