Does anyone know how 3M developed the trade name “Scotch?” It seems way-back when “3M” made masking tape for the automotive industry that was used for the painting process. They only put a little adhesive on either edge of the tape. The customers told 3M not to be so d@mn Scotch with the adhesive

Of course if he’s sticking them to a corkboard (as it looks like he may be doing), he’ll have better luck with map tacks.

Pluggers use both sides of sticky notes.

What is funny. One of my uncles used to work for them. Same with a friend of mine who woke up and walked out on them.

Some surfaces are not supposed to be marred by a pin. Or even can be. Like plastered, brick, glass, as well as metal.So using tape is better.

If you leave a sticky note long enough, it will fall off. Tape works, but eventually you have to replace it, too.

I just looked at my computer and I have 5 sticky notes held up with tape. Sigh. :o)
