I got stung by a bee once while we were driving around St.Louis, on the way back to Chicagoland from a summer vacation, back in the pre-air conditioned car days (one simply kept the windows open and hoped for a breeze, not bees). It was a ’57 Chevy…. We stopped at a drug store for some lotion-stuff, and I survived. I did not sing.

“On the Road Again (Chipmunks Remix)” sounds hilarious.

If you could put it on headphones for the kids, great!

One of my kids always needed to use the restroom 20 minutes after we pulled out of the gas station. One day, when we were in eastern Washington (most desert, with these signs on the highway saying ‘No Service’), the “I gotta pee” whine started up. I threw a paper cup into the backseat and said, “Here, use this!” We never heard the complaint again after that. And no ‘accidents,’ either.
