Light switches are unnatural. On the other hand, Edison could never come up with a light bulb that rose in the east nice and slowly every morning, so whattaya gonna do?

Admit it, at least once in our life we have all tried to balance the light switch between the on and off position to see what happened ;)

My aunt has a dozen of these in her condo, and they are awesome. Tap the bottom, and a bit of light (than move your finger up and it brightens). Tap the top, and itā€™s full power, slide down, and it dims.

I had a roommate who referred to me as ā€˜the vampireā€™ because of my extreme reaction to the light being turned on. In my defense, it was THREE IN THE FREAKING MORNING when she turned it on.

Philips wake-up lights are awesome at this. Plays bird sounds at an increasing volume too after the ā€œsunā€ rises. Only downside is itā€™s expensive for what it does.
