A frog came into the bank and asked for a loan. He was directed to the loan officer, Patricia Black. He told her his name was Kermit Jagger, his father was Mick Jagger, and he needed to borrow $5000 to start his own band.
She asked him if he had any collateral, and he told her, “All I have is this.” And showed her a miniature model of the Eiffel Tower. Patricia decided she’d better ask the bank president. So she went to the president and told him the frog’s story, and said, “….and the frog wants to use this for collateral! I’m not even sure what it is!”
The bank president laughed and told her, “It’s a knick-knack, Patty Black – give the frog a loan. His old man’s a Rolling Stone!”
