Not the one you’re thinking of, no, but Abrams was notable in that all of his children either became Army generals or married Army generals. His namesake eldest son is a retired brigadier general who’s the executive director of the Army Historical Foundation which is in charge of all of this.
That’s the good thing about being a General, you can get impossible things done. Especially when you’re a General with a pedigree like Creighton Abrams. Just goes to show you that Royalty still exists in America’s classless society. You’d like another example? Try George Patton, Jr. Or a more well known one, Big John McCain. Ah, and lets not forget General Douglas “I shall return” MacArthur.
Awwww to Dypak…..the common denominator….All are service academy graduates, West Point and the Naval Academy and that sir is from where the pedigree comes.

I disagree, Joe. I like to see all the different opinions. I don’t like incivility and pointless repetition of a point, but I think reviewing the work is valid use of the site.
Yes!!! Let the comments be a little different. Storyline is enough, but the comments can be off subject to make it a little more interesting to come to each day. Oh…how I wait for Sunday’s strip.

Is it just me, or does Skeezix bear a slight resemblence to Slim in the third panel?

I’m worried about Nina. She looks a little drawn.
On the other hand, she also looks like Lulu: http://tinyurl.com/an5f2b

General Creighton Abrams is long gone. I went to high school with his son [also Creighton Abrams, also a General].
