What impresses me is how cassualy Warbucks has put his “reputation” on the line - “tainting” it perhaps - and, for his “fellow man”, with nothing really to gain.
A brave man yes ! .And It tells a lot about his moral fibre “suggesting” that hard earned “riches” have not served to corrupt a fair outlook or his moral and ethical values.
Finally, last Sunday’s strip (which was really supposed to run tomorrow) makes sense. I wish GoComics would fix their mistake so we could go back and see what really happened last Sunday.
Thanks. The story fits together much better after viewing last Sunday’s strip. And, as it turns out, the nasty chemical did originate in a Warbuck’s factory. Quite a revelation.

The Blue Circle would have even more reason to proceed with caution if they knew Warbucks was in on the gag. Be very quiet…

Your Elmer Fudd accent is all wrong. It’s “Be vewy vewy quiet, I’m hunting the Bwue Circle.”

I’d call that a significant, informative ACT.
