You know, I’ve been in Spain for a month, just got back, I thought this Pat Robertson thing was a joke from Pab, until I looked it up. I just can’t believe anyone, never mind a so-called religious leader, would say something so utterly stupid, racist and idiotic….it boggles the mind! I mean, we’re in the 21st century, for crying out loud!!! And then we wonder why people are giving up religion….absolutely incredible. It STILL feels like some kind of joke! But unfortunately it’s not…
@Susan001: Apologies are unlikely, as this guy seems to have placed himself in the position of being a (self-appointed) prophet (or at least, mouthpiece) of God. As such, any apology would be construed as evidence that he is not such, which would leave him open to accusations of being… a False Prophet.
Being saddled with this epithet would be an albatross he really doesn’t need, and would cause him to suffer a fall nobody has seen since St. Mike tossed cousin Lou and his minions out of Heaven so long ago.

From what I’ve heard about Walt, he would have been pleased to associate with Pat.

If you are going to believe in God and Jesus, then why NOT believe in the Devil? And demons and angels and witches and ghosts and psychics and UFOs?
If you believe in faith over reason, then anything goes.

God would be proud to call Pat Robertson’s show home. (As Oral Roberts would mean it.)
