I never met a pig I didn’t like - cured or not. Roast Pork, pork chops pig’s knuckles, pork sausage, pork ribs, bacon, ham sandwich…I’m getting hungry!

An article on fried pork rinds (for the Super Bowl) in the New York Times (February 2, 2010) reminds us that pigskins were never used to make American footballs.

And sorry (not), but I don’t do pork.

Had drunken pork for dinner last night. That’s cured in beer. Fortunately for us reformed alcoholics, the alcohol evaporates while the meat cooks.

“Storeroom added to the back porch where we hung the meat.” Hey Joe I know a few people that could be cured by doing just that too… No! not by their necks I’m thinking more along the lines of Wizard of Id

Ever wonder what ham is cured from?

(That’s a rhetorical question - not a technical one, for those with humor impairment.)

If there’s a cure for pork, I don’t want it. If there’s a remedy, I’ll run from it.
