The worst part of mornings when I was camping. Those noisy birds would keep me from sleeping in.

I understand. There is a nest of mockingbirds in the tree right outside my window. Sometimes they pull 24-hour shifts so their concertizing is not limited to the morning hours.

We live next to a small lake. At night there are crickets, frogs, owls, and screechy things (don’t know what they are). In the morning there are dozens of different kinds of birds who do start up at least an hour before sunrise (kinda early around these parts this time of year). It’s all music to me.

I can tell when the wild critters head to the river to drink in the evening ’cause my neighbors dogs go nuts. When the critters head back to the national forest, the dogs sound off again. We get Deer, Elk & an occasional Bear. Coyotes are a constant threat to livestock.

The birds all like to greet the morning light (just as I do)!

The early bird may catch the worm. I prefer to sleep in and have egg and bacon.
