I don’t quite understand the animosity for the Boulder shelter. We thought it was a wonderful place. They gave us a private tour and we would love to have that sort of place. They have a clinic right on site, everything was clean, the animals were well cared for and the people couldn’t have been nicer.
This is Ruth again. Linda asked me to tell you she is doing better and to thank you for your thoughts, prayers, and pretty cards. I keep up with it and let her know when I go for evening visitation. In the morning, I get myself ready to go see her, then I can comb her hair and help her try to feel like herself. While she is in there, her neurologist wants a new MRI, her urologist wants a new CT scan, her gastroenterologist had to have a new Colonoscopy, and her heart surgeon wanted new film to see how things are progressing. After all of that is done, and if she is off the oxygen, she will get to come home. Her cats are sure missing her and so is George the Basset Hound she gave to her daughter in law, but still walks. I go walk him, but he lets me know that it just isn’t the same. Ah well, I do what I can, but I must not carry the right treats. She also wanted me to try to post a pic or two. She has a folder and its fully organized, and she has told me all I have to do is cut and paste, so here goes my first try. (I am holding my breath here)
Thank you for the update. It is so good to hear Linda is doing better. After all those tests, she’ll need a good rest — better get out of the hospital. :)
You picked great pics to post. Loved the cat in the birdhouse!
The guy came to pick up the last little Siamese – the female. Boy, was I glad to see her go! She has quite a mouth on her and had become very clingy, wanting to be held and carried constantly. I told the man this and he was thrilled because it’s exactly what he wanted. He’s older, a little challenged and lives with his nephew and niece-in-law. Jasmine (he named her) will have a wonderful home. Now I just have the 5 I picked up on the 14th.
to Dry and Dusty and all: I am better today. I got out and went to teach arthritis exercise at the pool, but did not go in myself, just taught from the side. I don’t want to get a chill. Fever is staying down which makes me feel ever so much better. Tomorrow the farrier is coming to trim 20 hooves (2 horses and 3 donkeys). That time outside will likely do me in. With the doxycycline, I cannot be in the sun, so I will be hiding in the barn. Love to all Ten Cat fans! And burning admiration to Graham!!
