    One cable from Tivo to the TV and one from Tivo to the antenna or cable TV. What’s so difficult. Read the manual before you do anything else.

    If they change the channel or not, Tivo will still record what Granddad wants to watch later. If he’s watching it now, they still shouldn’t change it.

    I decided against Tivo when I realized that, to get it to Work, I had to send them money every single month, effectively Paying them to accumulate data about me so that the could turn around and Sell it to other mega-corporations.

    Since they did not provide a single Bit of Content, there was never any need for them to be in constant contact with the box except to Spy on people who bought one.
