Huey makes a good point about the candy and he knows Halloween was founded by the ancient Celts who viewed dead spirits with fear whereas Huey’s ancestors were comfortably connected with the Spirit World.

And this is why I never warmed up to Huey. The boy has absolutely no joy in his life, and he likes it that way.

On the other hand, Huey has been unfair with Jazmine occasionally. Yet, he once apologized to her for hurting her feelings.
