He should be wearing slides/flip-flops to complete the look.

In the original Diamondback print, that kid was a different character called Hiro.

The people that I see dressed like that in winter usually have tattooed arms and legs.

Not sure why so many young people think it’s “cool” to be freezing your grommets off at the bus stop, but both of my grandchildren are prime examples. No tattoos thankfully.

Winter came to Chicago Friday night, 32° and 15mph WNW wind. I thought I might have to dig out my gloves.

I was visiting my mother in San Antonio around Christmas many years ago and the temperature was around 40 degrees. This was considered pretty cold in San Antonio and most folks were bundled up. I saw a neighbor out sweeping his driveway wearing a t-shirt. Turns out he had just transferred froma posting around the Arctic Circle and this was balmy weather for him.

Cargo shorts, flip flops and a Hoodie. I see that every winter.

When “Indian Summer” days randomly show up, it is hard to know when to abandon the cargo shorts. I usually wait until the snow flies.
