Back in my school daze I had a dog that associated “home from school time” with the lead in music of one of my mom’s soap operas. He could be sound asleep in his doggy bed and presto, he was looking out the window after just a few notes.
To test this theory, my mother would mute the volume every once in a while at that time and he wouldn’t “know” to watch for me.

Or about 60 thoughts of “Is it supper time yet?”. We don’t often get to see Mom.

He’s a pretty smart (or maybe focused) dog if he can count to 35. I would have thought he’d get distracted by 7 or so.

MOM MUST BE CLEANING. BECAUSE ROVER WOULD BE BEGGING FOR WHAT MOM IS MAKING FOR DINNER.
