If your child is bored, give them chores. Works every time.

I don’t think the hard hats are supposed to be considered hazmat, Victoria only mentions a collection of hazmat suits.

Also, we should fear the rest of the week and Danae’s boredom, for only terrible things may come of it.

When I was a kid when I got bored I went into the basement, got out my chemistry set and started mixing and boiling random chemicals and when really bored opened the locked cabinets and started mixing the chemicals that and the skull and crossbones on them into my concoctions. never did get anything to explode or mutate.. :(

My biggest success with my chemistry set was Stink Bombs. I’ve since learned to make them without the chemicals.

Wenthral, do a google search on ammonia and fertilizer. That’s what Timothy McVeigh did.

    Results: Oklahoma City bombing.

With five sons and two daughters, I can relate to Joe’s state of mind. Even though I used to purchase fuses by the case, all seven survived each other to adulthood.

Hope Victoria knows what “Fire in the Hole!” means …

I did that, too. Once, when I was 11, I got this beautiful blue color but I could not duplicate it. Tried for days.

I think Danae’s going to be in for a surprise, because I don’t think Victoria is a shrinking violet. For all of Danae’s pomposity and bombast and snark, I think she’s going to find that Victoria can either roll with it or tear into her so bad that SHE’S the one running and hiding.

Also, how do I bold things on here, so it’s easier to tell when I’m emphasizing something or quoting someone?

I still say that the front door mat to that house should read: Abandon hope all ye who enter here.

Just like the inscription over the gateway to Hell. Check it out in Dante’s “Divine Comedy”.

Geesh! I thought I was bad!

Ideas Cover your car with fake snow in the middle of summer. Walk up to strangers, and start talking to them as if you know them. Pretend that you don’t understand someone. Pretend ignorance to sarcasm. Maniacal Laughter for no apparant reason. Answer the phone when solicitors call and pretend you are hard of hearing and yell at them to speak up. Carry a stuffed animal around with you, pretend that not only is it real, but that you are carrying on a two sided conversation with it. Carry small spray bottle with you, make sneezing sound and spray on people from behind. Read a book.
