And global warming poses a serious threat to marine life with the acidifcation of our oceans and the destruction of... Eh eh he he stop global warming eh eh he he Oh, c'mon! Man!... Didn't anyone see that?! I just got a high-five from a dolphin!
boldyuma: Well I like it when people express opinions on the things that are important. If you think thatâs crap, then you are probably part of the problem!
It wouldâve been cool to have a Sherman cross-over, but getting a high-five from a great white shark probably wouldnât have the same impact â lousy dolphins, always showing off!
Oh, look at the cute dolphin; I assume it is a dolphin. Letâs bring his/her larger cousin, the killer whale, into the scene. Then add some of those cute sea otters!.It wonât be such a cute scene anymoreâŠ
Funny thing⊠this isnât âPoliticalâ it is simply science and fact. There is nothing âleftâ or ârightâ about it.
I find it interesting that America is the only developed country on the planet where there is a public debate about climate change. Every other country accepts it as fact.
The fun part of the climate change debate is that the drying of the planet, which is now 10% desert and growing, (30% of the land surface) is the main cause of warming, and has been for thousands of years, as the absence of glaciers and other fresh water resources reduces the conversion of thermal energy to kinetic energy. The only way to increase the fresh water resources is to have more evaporation from the seas, which are too cold to maintain the glaciers and green spaces that have been disappearing for thousands of years. So, warming is the answer to the climate change problem.Specifically, warming of the seas, so that more vapor is produced and forced into areas currently left arid and in which desert encroachment and glacial recession are occurring. But we are worried about the warming of the local atmosphere and inland areas that must warm to warm the seas to change the atmospheric water vapor density to allow the return of glaciers and the reversal of desert encroachment, and convinced without good reason to be fearful of the greenhouse effect and carbon dioxide which has reached an astound level of 0.04% in our atmosphere. But we have to act quickly, because within 2,000 years, the rains will start to come again and we have to have done something in order to claim credit for the natural cycle and impress the ignorant and superstitious native population.
