As a help desk analyst, there are so many times I wish I could do this.

Uh-oh. No new comic today. This must be the last Glasbergen cartoon. Thanks, Randy, for all the laffs.

I was able to see the two latest Glasbergen cartoons on the artist’s web site. Here’s the address: www.glasbergen.com

What’s the deal here? Glasbergen.com has the latest cartoons, but GoComics does not. Is there a tiff going on between them? If not, why hasn’t this been updated?

Give it time. His website was not updated for a week after his death, but it’s being updated now. With the lead time required by GoComics, I suspect updates will start in a week or so. I have noticed that a few comics have appeared on both sites, but mostly they are different; I don’t believe one is ahead of the other. He apparently left such a huge number of unpublished comics that there should be fresh ones for quite awhile. Such a genius and all-round nice guy.

I get so sad seeing this not being updated anymore. Randy was such a great friend who supported me and my dream of being a cartoonist. He always had kind words for me..I hope GoComics continues his work in reruns. Such an awesome talent and a huge loss. So glad I could call him my friend.

My day just isn’t right without a Glasbergen fix.

Sure hoped this site would be updating by now. Possibly the family has decided not to submit to GoComics any longer. I understood from the news reports that there were enough unpublished comics to last awhile. At least there are new comics at Glasbergen.com, but you can’t comment on them there.

Sad for family. Minor thing for us.
