My husband “inherited” a bunch of nice polo shirts – Ralph Lauren, etc. – from our son-in-law. We couldn’t afford that sot of thing. He always wears those to reunions and the like.
The important thing about going to your 50th class reuinion, is that you are able to go. So many of your classmates are probably in nursing homes, or have moved far away and can’t attend. The worst is old friends who are now dead.
Go and enjoy the fact that you are still able to connect to those folks that knew you when.
