Chepe: Obama is ending all the moon missions... Pepe: Why, that dirty Stalinist! Chepe: Hush, Pepe! I think the President is correct to do that. Chepe: What right do we have to push our religion on the moon people?
That’s not fair. Obama is NOT a Stalinist. He’s a Trotskyite.
(My heart is broken about cancelling the Moon mission, but it’s a good decision under present circumstances and I’ll accept it as long as we keep moving toward Mars. I’d prefer if government didn’t do it, though. Just set up a Homesteading Treaty for other heavenly bodies and there will be people flying to the Moon and Mars without bleeding unwilling taxpayers.)

Why do we need NASA? All that money could be going into my pocket.

The Moonies will be pleased to hear that. Let private enterprise finance future space missions

It’s raining soup in the solar system, and all we have is a small, lousy knife!
The asteroids are where its at - forget the Moon or Mars!
Solid nickel iron asteroids, solid ice asteroids, stone asteroids that can be shaped into empty spheres for storage or living in…
All for the taking, if we just have the will to go get it.
A single nickel iron asteroid of modest size could potentially be worth a trillion dollars!
Come on!
