Well, I MAY have urinated on the curtains before, but, to the best of my knowledge, I have NEVER worn a big fluffy skirt (although I did have a simply darling little A-line, once, in raw silk…)

Perhaps he’s at a voting booth & tinkling on his ballot while skirting around the issues

What constitutes being flagged anyway? So far, I haven’t been offended by anything… probably ever!

Oh no, I do sometimes… they mostly seem to boil down to two individuals- one on the left, and one on the right- verbally bashing each others brains out. Boring.

Bristow - being flagged is a form of “Take that, I don’t like what you said! You upset my sense of what’s right & I want to squash you if I can! I don’t want to read it & I don’t want anyone else too, either!”

Could be anything. I’ve looked cross-eyed at some posters and have been flagged.

So anyone can flag? Not just the artist or a referee?

There’s a difference, I think, between being flagged and being deleted. It’s obvious when a comment is deleted, but it’s not possible to see if you’ve been flagged or how many times. My understanding is that it’s an anonymous activity, which also makes it somewhat cowardly. Once a comment is flagged, I believe it is removed or allowed to remain based on the opinion of someone associated with GoComics. Has anyone ever found/read a Terms of Service page that explains comment violations? Just curious.

I’m not sure about comment violations, but as a comic creator you are not allowed to use/draw pornographic images…(bummer), curse…(mfpieces of s), or say anything derogatory towards race, nationality, religion or sexual preference…(white-a$$, gay, hb).

I’m sorry. That was uncalled for. I’m just nervous now because I’ve got both Jesus and a lesbian in tomorrow’s strip.

When a comment is “Flagged”, it comes to the attention of the GoComics Moderators who decide whether it belongs or gets deleted. As some of you may be aware, the Man From Tulsa is constantly flagging comments that he feels are insulting - occasionally they do get deleted. My flagged and deleted comment on Frog Applause was a link to the Blog’s Donna Michelle’s Playboy centerfold. I thought, since it only showed a single female breast, it would be OK here at this fairly adult section. Wrong - it offended SOMEONE (no one ever ‘fessed up), was flagged and deleted. Life goes on…

Well, I’m glad to see BPM’s comment still here. Maybe because it is at Frog Applause. But, to be honest, I have seen what seem to me innocuous comments gone in a short time. Live & Learn.

It’s probably still here because it’s the weekend. Anything can happen come Monday morning. Just sayin’…
