Growing up is a scam. When you reach grown-up age you realise it was a whole scam. You have to take care of everything yourself, and you still can’t do what you want. :)
When I was a kid we were always told when you’re a grown up you can make your own decisions and we looked forward to it with great anticipation, but it was only partly true, yes you can decide what to eat, what to wear, how late to stay up but you still have to follow orders from your boss and the law.

I’ve been doing whatever I want since the youngest went off to college. Love the freedom after 25 years of parenting.

I never have any desire to do something illegal so I don’t have to worry about the law. I don’t have a boss.
