Actually, Grandpa, most of them aren’t using their phones to conversation anymore. Now it’s games or texting. So you can have silence in a restaurant, but also around the restaurant table as those who are there ignore their companions and text someone else…

I recall my first initial reaction to hearing someone talking on a head rig. In the old days when someone did that they were mentally off. This was in 2003. I adjusted fast. An I immediately thought of one making or buying a non-functioning rig to do his speaking to invisible beings.

Sometimes my husband and I text each other while in the house (different rooms). LOL

This still happens today even though many are texting. Why do people think everyone around them wants to hear their LOUD conversations?

Why, Ruthie, can’t you figure that out? Nick’s speaking to his wallet because “money talks”! ;o)

I remember those days people could not talk low on their cell phone. For me I did not know how low to turn volume down. Grandpa got their attention. Now more texting.

I love how grandpa got their attention, although they probably think he’s the one being rude.
