Went to buy some cream cheese this morning. Last week, $2.99. Today, $3.69. For the first time ever, I went with the store brand at $2.59.

Sometimes, the higher priced places use the lower priced ones as wholesalers. They’ll buy a case of tomatoes at .99 a pound, and sell them at 1.99 a pound.

Hello, 2 hurricanes in prime growing areas. In FL one tomato grower was bemoaning his 4,000 acre field was pretty much destroyed. Same with FL Oranges and GA Pecans. The prices of all will be going up. As will gas due to where most refineries are located, Texas gulf coast

I’ve had enough from the four plants I put in to keep me going. The fall wave is coming in now. Not as sweet as July, but still great.
