When I watched “The Hulk” for the first time, I’m proud to say I caught the “Ed Norton” credit right away…and wondered. I waited throughout the movie for some character, played by Jackie Gleason, to show up and say, “One of these days, Brucie: Pow! Right in the kisser!” But I suppose Bruce would just turn into the Hulk then… Yeah, those of us who understood the reference right away must be as old as Grandpa!
Of course, you wouldn’t want to see him (and especially not be around him) when he got angry, because he would take everyone with him – it was “away we go” – sometimes “to the moon” and someone might get it “right in the kisser”.
