Good morning, everybody. I tried to blow bubbles for Yum-Yum, but she freaked out and hid under the bed for several hours.

@Gweedo – I guess, in the general scheme of things, it wasn’t all that bad. I went to check my bank account and found that my access to internet banking and my card had been disabled. Tried to fix it over the phone but had to go to branch to straighten it out. My hubby used my card to get some grocery money out of my account so they shut everything down. I was lectured by the bank lady and told that I would only get my card back if I promised to not let him use it again. Then, when I did check my account, some money the government owed me that was supposed to go in yesterday was not there; phoned them, and was told that it will probably not be there until early September or possibly October.

Hi everyone. Sorry to have been gone so long, but I stole King George the 3rd, borrowed the cabin, loaded up Tinker and Belle and we went to decompress and just chill out. I had some thinking to do, and plans to make, and just needed peace and quiet and some alone and down time. George was a great security system and let me walk and talk as much as I needed to and only laid down on me twice. The girls had a screened in gazebo so they could watch the birds and lay in the sun and enjoy their days. I caught some fish and grilled it and they loved dinner that night, all of them! Chicago sure seems noisy after the peace of the lake shore, but its good to be back home and I DO feel like its home. I wont be here everyday, and have a few trips to make back to my house in MN, but I already have an offer on it, and so I have decisions to make there as well. Lots to do, but lots to look forward to as well. Nice to be back with you guys too. Sure never thought people I have never met could become what feels like good friends. Thank you for that. See you tomorrow.

Re: how would bank know who was using the bankcard… I was wondering the same thing! I use my hub’s card all the time and never a problem… ;)
