I had that expierence with tempura once, except I didn’t spit it out. Dad and I were eating at a teriyaki restaurant and I ordered a side of tempura and we were talking about something until the battered, deep-fried vegetable hit my tongue while still in my mouth; had to interrupt Dad by holding up a finger telling him to hold his thought until the tempura was down.
Had the cheese from the pizza hang on my lip as I was trying to remove it from my mouth. Don;t know which is worse. The peeling of the roof of my mouth or the blistered lip.
ElDo, and anyone who hasn’t followed Corey too long -
Sometimes Corey runs behind - or gets overloaded. He generates way too many great ideas to keep up with all of them all of the time. The Elderberries gets priority because it’s actually a paying job, and his other work is pretty much icing on our cake.
Your choices are (a) wait and see, and hope the backed-up project is not one of the few that has to get discontinued; or (b) visit the Fake Rock Star site blog and see what he’s up to.
The experience I’m in awe of right now is not tempura but tempera - it looks like brilliant tempera oranges and yellows and reds that make me feel as enflamed as our hero here. Even if it’s actually only computer-generated color. Love the cheeks and nose, too. Don’t remember seeing any art effects quite like that before. Prize!
