Petey: There's my sister who flushes ice cubes so it'll snow. Ernesto: Why is she jumping around? Petey: I don't know. Ernesto: She must be working on some sort of anti gravity! How interesting! Well, I'll leave you here. Petey: That was my imaginary friend Ernesto: Alice: I didn't see anybody.

What I like about Ernesto is, you’re never quite sure if he’s imaginary or not. Even Petey’s never entirely sure.

But, I ask…How did Ernesto, see Alice?
gosfreikempe almost 10 years ago
@Puddlesplat: well, you see now, Alice is nothing but trouble, and nobody knows the trouble Ernesto’s seen.

Alice did not see Ernesto. Is Ernesto, therefore, imaginary? Or is Alice just too bouncy to notice anyone? Does Petey hallucinate Ernesto? If you know your imaginary friend is imaginary, are you still imagining him? So many questions!

Well, obviously Ernesto doesn’t have a sister!
