OK, I get it; Virgil pulls gun, makes big scene, thus conveniently avoiding many more long weeks of Tracy having to do actual detective work. Totally implausible, but I suppose it’s a merciful thing for us, the readers.

Also: If I’d been paid millions of dollars for a stolen item, I might think twice about ratting out the guy who’d bought it from me. Especially if he was armed.

That’s it, the only “explanation” for bald Virgil having long black HAIR on December 12 … he was in “disguise” !

Like the Woodstock Boys, you have to think “outside the box” to find a rational “explanation”, when faced with one of Dicky’s unexplainable artistic FAUX PAS !

At the rate we’re going Virgil will be wearing the scarf in May.

Does anyone THINK the Captain of the SWAT team will be FIRED or suspended by Chief Lizz for allowing Ludwig (soon to be followed by Dad) to leave after Tracy had issued STRICT orders to prevent that (Sunday 2-28-10) ?

I have to admit that I only give the strip a cursory look. I really look forward to reading all the comments.

The SWAT team seems to consist of a photographer and nothing else.

Nothing makes sense because he can’t remember from one day to the next what he wrote.

So far, the kid and his band got out of the embassy even though Tracy said that no one was to leave or come in. The (one man) Terror Squad and the wide angle photographer made it in. I see no other emergency response personnel even though smoke is still coming through the unbroken windows. One would think that a “floooom” as large as the one we witnessed would generate response from the police, fire dept., and other emergency personnel.
