A few years ago I had several black mollies and they started to disappear and then one day I walked in and my cat had his paw in the water trying to catch one, mystery solved.

Yeah, definitely agree with “Jaws” as a better option. (Besides, a whale isn’t even a fish.)

Fish was simply thinking back to the etymology of his name — “Old English ”fisc" as a noun denoting any animal living exclusively in water."
