This is the first “Doonesbury” strip that elicited a belly laugh from me.

Reminds me of Bill Cosby telling about coaching his wife in breathing.

How did Joannie and Jenny meet? I do not remember.

There’s a lot of characters I enjoyed back then that seemed to have disappeared..Wonder what ever happened to: Ellie, Howard and Jenny (main principal kids at Joanie’s daycare) Havoc (the CIA op), Bobby “please don’t hit me” Mathews and his friend Malcolm who were part of the bussing episodes (I recall one strip where little Bobby caused a race riot at his school for calling a black kid a honky..He got mixed up.) Love to see where\how they all ended up. I know Havoc taught a class at Walden on torture but I don’t recall the rest ever being brought back…
