Rose is Rose by Don Wimmer and Pat Brady for September 05, 2014
Transcript:
Jimbo: Good, Pasquale! Keep your head tilted up! Pasquale: Okay. Rose: Remember to act aloof. Jimbo: Don't even acknowledge the bowl of food. Peekaboo: I'm mildly amused...their exaggerated mannerisms and clumsy gestures... Are feeble and uninformed imitations of an authentic snubber!

Remember Peek-a-boo, while they maybe mocking you imitation is a form of flattery; you should be flattered that they dare to behave like you. Keep leading by example Peek-a-boo.

It’s hard to pull off a good snub without a tail to flick

Isn’t that a move in yoga – the “Snub”?
Gokie5 about 10 years ago
One of the best snubs is the “I’m-burying-it” ploy. Our cat tried to bury the guavas that fell off our tree many years ago. (They do tend to smell a little like cat pee.)

Maybe the Gumbos think they will convince Peek-a-boo to eat by using this approach, but I’ve always figured that the only way to cure a cat of rejecting food is to allow the dog to start eating it….
