So Virgil only comes away with a shoulder wound??

I’m sure you can tell what show I am today.

How come Virgil got medical attention and no one even bothered to see if sonny was dead or alive. Prompt medical attention might have saved his life!

Oh! I forgot, Tracy declared him dead.

If the ambassador knew there was a bomb scare, AND he heard gunshots, you can bet your sweet bippy he would be long gone by now.

A bomb “scare” is when you think there might possibly a bomb. When this bomb detonated, it went from being a scare to being a bombing.

Virgil was a better shot than Tracy.

Why does it look like Virgil got shot in the hand when we saw him get shot in the kidney two days ago. Did Tracy also shoot the gun out of his hand?

Back in the old days Tracy could shoot the gun out of a bad guys hand from a mile away

so…disaster (mostly)averted, culprits either dead or in custody… Aside from what is likely to be a highly repetetive and weeks-drawn-out explanation from Virgil outside the embassy, is this the end of this story arc? Is it? Please?

They should just make this strip a Sunday…we only get a bit of movement about once a week anyway…

I’d like to know what his sling is holding on to. It’s not around his neck. Looks like it’s tacked on to his shoulder.

I dread to think we’re going to see Pops say something like “He’s dead.” every day until the story is over.

Virgil is only wounded because he got shot with only part of a gun.

Today’s badge design is wider at the top than the bottom. Looks more like a butterfly. I think it’s a depiction of later in the FLOOOOOMM! when it’s starting to spread at the top.

I’m not sure yet if Virgil’s sling is tied to the Anti-Gravity Scarf or if it has Anti-Gravity of its own….

He’s even earned an iron cross at some point in his career.. pretty good for a guy who can’t tell an attempted bombing from a real one .

Weird spin on this story…

As Sam Catchem watches this police fiasco play out, from the anonymity of the crowd, he must be wondering WHY (?) Dick Locher “fired” him from the Major Crime Squad?

Tracy orders the Swat team that no one must enter or leave the Embassy premises … now, failure to enforce that order has caused the DEATH of young Ludwig who exited. Since then his father Phil and now the Ambassador have both come out.

A breach of duty ? ! Will someone be held culpable ? Who is now in charge ?

Isn’t newcomer Lt. Teevo now in charge of “Homicide” (where is he today?) …while jobless Sam jingles some change in his pockets, as he silently witnesses the disintegration of “effective” Police proceedure, but notes that if nothing else, an Ambulance did arrive.

This ramshackle mess of a PLOT and attention to even minor detail, tells readers Locher should be the one on the dole !

Who wrapped up Virgil’s arm?? Wouldn’t they have taken him to the hospital with a police detail for treatment?? Sigh…

Didn’t take the EMT guys long to administer first aid to Virgil, did it? And they let Junior croak without finding out where the remainder of the $2 Mm is. Poor Phil - he can’t win for losing!

Maybe Junior isn’t dead. After all, I think I recall seeing Virgil Ohso being shot in the abdomen and now his hand is bandaged and his arm is in a sling attached to his collar. Apparantly, the guys in ambulance #1 took care of Virgil while letting junior wait. Maybe, when ambulance #2 arrives, they will attend to junior and determine that he is only in shock and unconscious from the bullet wound.

And… when junior is revived, dad can change his chant back to “I’ll kill him”.

Since the ambassador knows Virgil Ohso, perhaps the reason Virgil was going to kill the ambassador was to get his job.

We’ll find out in the coming months.

If Virgil Ohso had normal length arms, the sling would be on the right side.
